In the La Crosse area, Shed of the Dead is the only game in town, and although it's small and run by volunteers strickly for charity, it manages to pack in the scares. Loud noises, disorienting lighting, and creepy creatures come at you from every side, and one begins frantically looking about in an effort to take it all in. The two gals I was with were jumping and screaming throughout the entire maze which takes about 10 minutes to navigate. This is an 'old school' kind of haunt that relies on actors and atmosphere rather than expensive animatronics. There's plenty of parking space and two cans of food get you two dollars off your ticket. Convenient to Onalaska, La Crosse, Holmen, West Salem, and La Crescent. Well worth a visit!

Summary

Plenty of scares and conveniently located within La Crosse metro area.
