Signage / Visibility / Location

Easy to find. Milwaukee area.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

No ticket/number system, you have to wait in line. We did not wait long. There is no entertainment in line.

Most Unique

Length. Large number of scenes within the corn maze.

Actors' Performance

Big disappointment. Zero intensity. The security guards scarier than the actors. There should be more actors and less security. The secuity guards should at least be disguised. We were the last group of the night to go through and we had about 20 actors, minus their masks, following closely behind us and talking loudly. This ruined our experience. If they were in such a big hurry to leave, they could have at least stayed in character while following us out of the maze. That would have have been really creepy! Even though we were last, we paid the full amoun1t and deserve the full experience

Appropriate For

any

Summary

The opening scene was the scariest part. Better use of the space could have easily made it more terrifying. It could be used as an "on deck" area for multiple groups. That would be a frightening prelude to the maze.

Signage / Visibility / Location

There isn't really any signage along the way that I noticed, but I have also attended this haunt several times before. There are lights at the beginning of the driveway and a big orange sign. It is located just West New Berlin West High School.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

Wait was short. The Lindner's continue to improve the wait area each year with 'pre-scare' visuals. There is a pumpkin patch as well.

Most Unique

The corn maze has a definitive 'lost' feeling to it. There are times where you really don't know which way to go and you are free to make a choice. Scarecrows man!! Scarecrows!

Actors' Performance

The first actor you will encounter is AWESOME! He was really in tune with his role. For the most part, the actors did a great job. There were a few non-actor security guys walking the maze, but they did kinda put forth an effort to blend in. The number of actors' cellphones ringing and lighting up in the corn was a disappointment.

Summary

This has been the best year yet for this event. The Lindner's really put alot of effort into this haunt. The addition of more walk-through environments was a plus. Need more stalkers on the paths! Other than that, keep up the great work Diane! (hope I remembered your name right)

Signage / Visibility / Location

Pretty good, I think. I knew the area and didn't need the help to locate it.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

Waiting are was pretty dull. Once you bought tickets and went through this dark building (which, might I add, should have had some actors in it to amp people up) you came apon the real line. There was no concession there or any entertainment, except some poorly made video explaining the rules right before you enter.

Most Unique

THE SECURITY GUYS! The security guys who were placed through out the corn maze were the scariest part. Maybe they were short on actors for the night, or maybe it was the Security guys just getting in on the fun (I like to think it was the latter), but they would be hiding and would come at you with the loudest screams and the best scares. That was really awesome, they helped keep this haunt scary.

Actors' Performance

The actors were okay. The guy in the first room, the jail cell guy, he was pretty good, very funny. The butcher also stood out as a pretty good actor. Otherwise it was just alot of boos and jumping out at you, which is good, but isn't really acting. I also felt like their timing was a bit off, seemed like they didn't jump out until we had passed them.

Appropriate For

Any

Summary

I feel like these corn mazes are maybe just a bit too big, there is way too much time between scares, they needed more actors. Overall, this was a decent haunt, but I thought it could have been a lot better.
