Review

This is a great haunt for families, or those who are doing their first haunt. The night we went I took my 7th grade daughter and her 6 friends. This was a “first haunt” for a couple of the girls and one had a fear of clowns.

There is humor, distraction scares, popular pop culture references and the attraction is substantial for the price of admission - frankly one of the best deals I’ve seen for the length of haunt.

Get there early. We arrived just after 7 and had to wait about 40 minutes. The first half of the ride is 20-30 minutes, the you are dropped off at a nice cozy lodge for concessions, and the night we visited there were uniformed Boy Scouts who were passing out free marshmallows on sticks to roast.

I’m not sure if this is a free thing they do for everyone or if our girls got them because we were one of the last riders of the night and they were trying to get rid of the leftovers but it was nice. They had music outside in back, decorations and a fire pit.

After snacks and spending some time there we got in the last wagon for the second half - it was a very short ride but had a finale and some actors rode back with us on our last wagon and stayed in character.

The haunted house at the end was closed when we came which was the only disappointment but a couple of actors came out and scared the girls as we were leaving.

My daughter and her friends are already talking about coming back next year - I think we have a new tradition.

Summary

Excellent value - family haunted hayride with some extra surprises/features.
