Review

I'm afraid that we can not give the Terror Trail a very good review. We drove from Appleton based on the amazing reviews we read on this site and on Terror Trail's own website. We arrived just before 9:00pm on Saturday 10/24/2009. The line was pretty short, but it moved extremely slow. We were at the front just after 10:00pm. We made a point not to rush through the trail, but we were still done in only eleven minutes. A couple of the stops along the haunted trail had neat idea (the mourge and the one with the car), but not really scary. Some of the parts listed in prior reviews were not being used such as the school bus. Although we had a decent but short time on the trail, we did not feel that the Terror Trail lived up to its prior reviews and was not worth the drive or the wait in line.

Summary

Okay for a basic experience for the price if you live nearby, but certainly not worth traveling for. It is a neat concept with different stops along the haunted trail, but not much substance or fear factor to the individual stops. One has to keep in mind that everyone there is a volunteer and that the funds all go to charity. One nice thing was that we were able to get a discounted ticket price by bringing a food pantry donation.
