Weekend Event Guide: October 14-16, 2016

 

Another beautiful fall weekend has arrived and only two weekends remain until Halloween. Take some time to view the changing colors, have a campfire, pick some pumpkins, decorate your house, and have some spooky fun at a haunted attraction.

 

Friday, October 14th

 

Today only:

Retzer Howl-O-Ween An Unhaunted Halloween Event
A Halloween themed evening, filled with scare-free entertainment and activities the whole family will enjoy!

David Seebach's Illusions in the Night Halloween Magic Show
Great entertainment for ALL AGES!

Halloween Nature Hikes
This is not a scary hike and is best for those over five years of age.

Splatterhaus Presents - HELLWORLD
The scariest haunted house in Wisconsin brings you a level of terror you have never seen before.
 
Camp Dread
Camp Indian Trails has been over run with the creatures of the night that lurk in our forests. 

Cedarburg Haunt
This year's haunted house will be even more scary as we celebrate a terror-filled decade.

Halloween Dinner Theater: Dracula at Old World Wisconsin
Enjoy a unique and themed dinner at our 1890s Clausing Barn and then travel by lamplight across the grounds to our intimate 19th century theater where the legend of the Count will come to “life.”

Haunted Halloween Golf Cart Rides
We welcome you to take a spooky chauffeured limo golf cart ride throughout the haunted property of Hickory Hills Country Club. 

Haunted Shed
The Haunted Shed is a creepy walk through where the dead are living and your worst nightmares come true as you enter the horror that is the Haunted Shed!

Horicon Haunted History Tour
Join us for an evening of the macabre and the bizarre at Horicon's Satterlee Clark House Museum! 

Horror in the Dark at Olin Park: The Castle
Are you brave enough to enter the zombie-invested castle to find the cursed black rose?

Mighty Keagen Haunted House
All proceeds from this event go to help the Mighty Keagen Foundation provide Christmas Dinner at the Children's hospital in Madison to help fight childhood cancer.

Onalaska Jaycees present Toxic Wasteland
The Toxic Twins will be ready to greet you when you pass by their room, as well as Smiley- who does not have much to smile about anymore....

Zoo Boo at the NEW Zoo
Everyone is encouraged to come in costume and kids 12 and under can trick-or-treat throughout the NEW Zoo – so don’t forget your treat bags! 
 

Saturday, October 15th

Waukesha Trunk-or-Treat
Free, fun, safe & accessible way to trick-or-treat! Costume & trunk decorating contests!

Zombie 3k
This is a NON-TIMED event intended purely for an apocalyptic good time...If you're not a runner, or not competitive, don't be afraid to give it a try.

Milwaukee Paranormal Conference
The Milwaukee Paranormal Conference, now in its second year, is a celebration of the study of topics like ghosts, UFOs, cryptozoology (the study of mystery animals, like Bigfoot), and folklore and culture.

Haunted Trail Benefiting Dane County Humane Society
Every fall, dedicated Dane County Humane Society volunteers transform our outside walking paths into one of Dane County's spookiest haunted trails.

Haunted Train
A 20 minute ride on the Rock River Canon-ball steam engine! 

Wilke's Haunted Acres
10 acre corn maze, indoor haunted house, and a 20 minute haunted hayride. Will you pick one or all three?

Yager Haunted Hayride
20 minute hayride through a spooky and thrilling pasture. Ride ends with a bang going through a thrill filled shed.
