If you're in the Janesville area, you can get your scare on and help out a local family! The Janesville Community Haunted House is raising funds to help with the continued care of Katie Clayton, who was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on her brain stem in March of 2011. This tumor has paralyzed Katie on her left side, taken away much of her eyesight, and has now left her bedridden. She has had 3 brain surgeries and radiation, none of which worked and there is no more medical intervention that can be done. Hospice has been set up in her home. Katie is only 24 and a graduate of Parker High School.The haunted house was built and is being run by Tom Clayton, Katie's brother, with the help of many friends and family.
