About

MILWAUKEE'S BIGGEST HALLOWEEN PARTY

Every year thousands of Milwaukeeans travel to Madison for their annual Freakfest celebration. This year, the Water Street Entertainment District is giving you a reason to stay in town by closing down the street for a full day of Halloween festivities.

Pumpkins will be carved, costumes will be worn, and the Big screen will be inflated to watch the Badger destroy OSU. Join us this October for Milwaukee's only Halloween Block Party.

During the day, the event will be free for anyone to attend and all ages are encouraged to attend. If you are interested in carving a pumpkin, you will be able to purchase a pumpkin on site from a local farmer. Starting at 8PM, wristbands will be sold for $5 at the entrances to the block party. A wristband will allow you to drink on the street and will include a beer.

Starting at 2PM, families will have an opportunity to participate in Halloween themed art activities. Carve pumpkins with your kids, take them trick-or-treating, and listen to scary stories with a mug of cider in hand, during the Fall Family Funday.

After 5, the party heats up as live bands take the stage, contestants eat Pumpkin Cupcakes as fast as they can, and Adult Trick-or-Treating kicks off. Music will continue on the Miller stage while the Badgers at Ohio State game is aired live on the jumbo screen, Stadium Bar style. After the game, music will break and the members of 2011's Water Street Costume Court will be announced.
