The Friends of Devil’s Lake invite you to our annual Halloween Extravaganza!

Free kid’s crafts! This year’s theme: MAMMOTHS.
With special guest Monty the Ice Age Trail Mammoth!
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
As dusk falls, enjoy a torchlit hike with Jack-o-Lantern and costume parade - we’ll line up all the carved pumpkins to help light the way through a 1.5-mile family-friendly hike starting from the Rock Elm Shelter. Costumes welcome!
After the hike, join us around the campfire for music, s’mores, hot cocoa, and so much more. Join us for special musical guest Campfire Kevin as he serenades the campfire with classic tunes.
Experience the magic of Devil’s Lake at Halloween!
Other details to “know before you go”:
- The hike path will be lit by torches, but if you have a headlamp or flashlight, it might be helpful to bring along just in case.
- Volunteers will be stationed along the hike route to answer questions.
- Restrooms will be open.
- Concessions at the Chateau will be open until 7 p.m.
- Leashed pets are welcome on the hike, but not allowed on the grass at the day use area.
- Non-dairy s’mores supplies will be available.
- Costumes are encouraged!
Free - Donations are accepted.
All vehicles will require paid admission, which can be purchased the day of the event.
