Follow these trick-or-treat safety tips for a safe and Happy Halloween!
Participating businesses are asked to display the orange pumpkin sign in a visible location to let families know they’re part of the event. To help ensure everyone’s safety, businesses should also make sure walkways and entrances are well-lit and free of hazards.
The downtown area includes Dunlap Avenue, Ella Court, Hall Avenue, Ludington Street, Main Street, Maple Avenue, Marinette Avenue, Pierce Avenue, State Street, Stephenson Street, and Wells Street. Participation is optional for all downtown businesses.
The City of Marinette does not set a specific date or time for trick-or-treating, however Halloween night from 4-6 p.m. is the recommended date & time.

Downtown trick-or-treat will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 3 to 5 PM. Watch for the bright orange signs, indicating participating merchants. (The downtown area includes: Main Street, Hall Avenue, Ludington Street, Wells Street, State Street, Stephenson Street, Maple Avenue and Pierce Avenue.) Parents should ensure that their children dress in bright costumes and avoid facial masks that may obstruct vision. Children should be supervised by a responsible adult.
