Our mission is to provide families with an enjoyable country experience. We sell our products at very reasonable prices. We offer, at no cost, a haunted room, a hiking trail, and wagon rides for pumpkin picking. Many make believe characters can be found along the path to the pumpkin field. Brightonwoods Orchard grows over 150 apple varieties. We sell most of our products in our Apple Barn. In addition to apples, we also grow a limited supply of grapes, quince & pears. Fall Market Opens September 24, 2022!
We will be open September 24–October 31, 2022, 9:00AM to 7:00PM every day.
We raise over 40 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds, squash, Indian Corn (both large and mini) and Broom Corn. Our pumpkins grow in all shades of orange plus the white (Cotton candy and Luminas), the big whites called Full Moons (50 pounds and larger), green Jaharradles, the tan New England Cheese and the bright red Cinderellas. The gourds come in all shapes, sizes and colors. We have a nice selection of dried gourds for birdhouses or craft projects.
There are 14 different varieties of squash to please all eating and decorating tastes. In addition, we have corn stalks and bales available for your fall decorating. We also welcome your fall wholesale orders.

Every fall features a newly designed hand cut 4 ½ acre corn maze. The price for admission is $3. Peter's Pumpkin Patch has a large selection of pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, squash and gourds. We have an 800 tree apple orchard with some pear and plum trees. We have over 17 varieties of apples. Pleasure Valley lies on the edge of the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. Amidst the pumpkin farm gorgeous surroundings nestles pastures with our animals and 16 acres of pumpkins. From Mid-September through October, hop aboard the free tractor pulled hay ride to the patches on Saturday and Sunday. This wagon runs from 10 am to 4pm (weather permitting) and is located near the parking lot at the “U-Pick Checkout”. Otherwise, we encourage you to walk to the fields for a true pumpkin seeking adventure. We also offer lots of pre-picked pumpkins gathered around the buildings so you don’t have to go too far.

Climb into the wagon, find your spot on the blanket of hay, and listen to the driver tell you about the farm. Explore acres of tangled vines laden with pumpkins of every shape and size. We have over 15 varieties, from baby pumpkins that fit in the palm of your hand to giants to monsters that will challenge the strongest member of your group.
Would you rather walk to get your pumpkins? Our smaller pumpkin patch is within easy walking distance The Farm Fables Patch has carving size and smaller pumpkins (so if you want a monster-sized pumpkin, take the hayride or grab one of our pre-picked pumpkins from around the farm.)
The mazes open Labor Day weekend. The pumpkin patch, hayrides, games, playground, and concessions are open from the last weekend in September thru the end of October. The maze stays through the second weekend in November.

Homemade country cooking is the hallmark of Whispering Orchards Cafe. Enjoy the care and hospitality of our third generation farm family. Take home fresh baked pies, honey, jam, and pure Maple syrup. Shop for country crafts and see the peacocks that wander our yard.
Our cafe menu features homemade bread and jams. Bacon, ham, and sausage are sourced from local markets. Sausage links are filled with pork and our own honey-sweetened apple sauce. Bacon and ham are hardwood smoked.
Come for one of the HEARTY FARMER breakfasts we call THE GRAIN SHOCKER. You’ll see a plate loaded with Raspberry French Toast, Apple French Toast, Blueberry French Toast, and Apple Pocket French Toast along with bacon, ham, or sausage, and hash browns, American fries, or herbed potato. Breakfast is important for a day of hard work on the farm.
Apple Harvest starts in September and continues through December. When Chuck’s grandparents, Orrin and Laura Berge planted the first apple trees over 100 years ago, little did they know their farm would grow to become the Whispering Orchards of today with many varieties like our Honey Crisp. We started selling apples out of our garage but our dreams were bigger. We planted more trees, opened the Cafe, and added a cider press.

Try our corn maze where your goal is to find 5 flags within the maze and then find your way out. We provide you with a card and each flag has a paper punch so you can keep track of which flags you’ve found.
