The Downtown West Bend Ghost Walk is back for 2019!
Join West Bend author and paranormal researcher J. Nathan Couch for a haunting experience. Historical information is blended with local legends and eyewitness accounts on this leisurely stroll past an assortment of alleged spooks, specters, and spirits!
Groups meet at the corner of 5th Ave. and Chestnut St. at 8:00pm (near the Old Sheriff’s Residence and Jail).
The walking route is roughly 1.2 miles (15 blocks), some of it uphill. Each walk lasts around 90 minutes depending on each group's enthusiasm and athleticism. It's recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. The cost is $10.00 (cash only).
The tour is family friendly but recommended for ages 10 and up. Minors must be accompanied
by an adult.
Can't join us on any of these dates? Walks on additional dates may be possible by special request for groups of 5 or more people.|
ATTENTION PARENTS: Stories on the tour may contain mild descriptions of violence, including suicide. However, there is no strong language or gory content, nor are there any intentional scares (people hidden in costume, scary props, et al).
Tour guide J. Nathan Couch is an author and paranormal research who has appeared on Travel Channel, History Channel, and FOX Radio.
