Fresh apples, wonderful on-site bakery products, fresh kettle made caramel and a great selection of gifts and items for every age. Ride on a tractor pulled hayride wagon through our orchard and woods, feed and pet eager and friendly goats, watch the peacock and chicken families, pick your own apples and pumpkins, get lost in the corn maze or let the kids play in the play area with bicycles, bouncy horses, hay mountain to name a few. Walk through our original 1880’s Farmhouse which also offers a coffee shop and a large selection of awesome gifts. The Apple House has many gift and home items along with our own fresh apples, squash, and other seasonal fruit. It also houses the bakery, caramel kitchen and the apple bagging area. The Craft Barn is located in the hayloft of the old barn and has a wonderful deck where one may enjoy the scenery of the orchard, barnyard and play area.
Settled on 139 acres of the Niagara Escarpment, The Little Farmer began as a dairy farm in 1866. The present owner, Linda Struye, is the proud fourth generation caretaker of the land. Through the years it has transformed into a seasonal festive market specializing in apple growing and educating the public about farming. Over 100 employees are hired during the fall carrying out duties such as apple picking, baking, cooking, cashiering, tractor driving for hayrides, making caramel and caramel apples and school tour guiding.
