This year’s theme: Cryptids of Wisconsin

Have you ever been out for a walk in the Marsh, and heard a rustle in the tall grass behind you? You turn around and catch the glimmer of red eyeshine. "Just an animal," you tell yourself, and begin to walk away—until the scrabble of claws on gravel makes you turn again. The same red eyes stare back, then rise to a height far taller than any creature should. Do you scream? Do you run? Will anyone believe your wild tale?

Cryptids are supernatural, zoological creatures—beasts born of folklore, fear, and the shadows of history. Wisconsin is home to a startling variety of these legends, from clawed marsh dwellers to winged terrors overhead. This year, our Haunted History Tours invites you to walk among them.

TRIGGER WARNING Our event is based on real history. While names may have been changed and certain aspects added for entertainment, the basis behind our play is raw, unfiltered history. We depict scenes of disease, death (including children), and historical violence. These scenes are thought-provoking, emotional, and at times graphic. Some may be unsuitable for sensitive viewers.

Accessibility Notice: Due to the nature of our historic house and grounds, our event is NOT ADA accessible. Tours include dim lighting, stairs, uneven terrain, and both indoor and outdoor scenes. Please dress appropriately and plan accordingly.
