Stroll through our outdoor, family friendly, jack-o'-lantern wonderland! 3000 hand carved illuminated pumpkins adorn our enchanted forest trails. From black cats and broomsticks to spiders and hooting owls, The Hollow promises to stir the imagination and rekindle the nostalgia of the season. Discover the mystery and wonder of our unique glowing jack-o'-lantern art installations against the night sky, the only one of its kind in Wisconsin!
The Hollow will be held the first 4 weekends in October at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp. With its rolling hills, scenic trails, and haunting waters, PLYC is the perfect location to host this fall spectacle. Dating back to 1896, it is Wisconsin's oldest youth camp. Proceeds raised from this event benefit the camp's scholarship program.
The Hollow at Phantom Lake is designed for all-ages and allows families with young children a non-scare option this Halloween season.
We do not recommend strollers or wheelchairs. We recommend a baby carrier as the trails can be rough.
The illumination is approximately 1 mile of wooded trail. Wear comfortable footwear. Expect uneven terrain and some inclines.
Refreshments, cotton candy, kettle corn, s'mores, and other treats available for purchase. Concession proceeds support the PLYC Scholarship Fund.
