Come one, come all, step right up, test your luck! The 8th annual Haunted Sawmill Presents: Nocturnal Carnival!

Haunted Sawmill graciously opened its doors when the carnival came to Merrill. Of course the Sawmill's head ghoul, Vincent Mudgett, couldn't resist a chance to do a little meddling. Lets just say, things got weird. Clowns are looking pretty over-ripe and are partial to machetes, the fortune teller has been drawing death out of the tarot deck - a lot, and the dancing bear seems awfully... well-fed.

The creepies, the crawlies, and the carnies invites marks *ahem*, guests, to venture through the graveyard and into the Haunted Sawmill to see the curiosities, freaks, clowns, and questionably constructed rides - don't expect the Ringmaster to keep you safe from the skull-faced Vincent, don't believe for a minute you will win any of the games, keep hands and feet inside ride at all times, and, whatever you do, do NOT feed the animals!

Launched in 2011 by a group parents from a Merrill Boy Scout troop, the Haunted Sawmill as helped many scouts experience Boy Scouts camps, adventures, and other outings that makes the scouting experience memorable. Ranks of volunteers have expanded decided to give back to their community by collecting donations for local food pantry and the Lincoln County Humane Society. Haunted Sawmill is not affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America. The event has consistently expanded since its launch and the theme and layout of the haunt shifts each season. Volunteers make the event successful and funds raised are available to youth volunteers through scholarships for a variety of enrichment activities. Since its founding, thousands of people have experienced the wrath of Vincent Mudgett and his many ghouls.

Guests will experience tight spaces, uneven and shifting floors, strobe effects, 3D effects, compressed air effects, blacklights, loud noises, jump scares, gore, fog, and a rotating hallway. Maybe even an existential crisis. Actors do not touch participants and language and effects are "Pg13."

Snacks are available in line and after the haunt. Merchandise is also available after the haunt. All parking is street side. Any guests consuming alcohol or smoking on premises will be asked to leave.
