WCLO Radio, AM-1230 in Janesville, WI and the Janesville Performing Arts Center present a live radio adaptation of Orson Welles' radio theater production of War of the Worlds.
Patrons may attend the live production and see the actors and sound effects as they perform, or listen to the broadcast on radio. The play takes place exactly 72 years to the night of the original radio play which panicked some Americans into believing martians had invaded earth.
Admission to the live production is $5. The broadcast and live presentation will run from 6:30-7:30pm with an online podcast available shortly afterward at www.wclo.com.
