Warning: the event information you are viewing is from 2012!
This 22nd annual event draws visitors from the whole Midwest - looking for a thrilling, heart pounding hike through the woods. The over 1/2 mile trail is lined with over 400 carved, lit jack-o-lanterns - your only light as you are guided through the woods, prairie and farmstead. Spooks along the way catch you of your guard and add a thrill to this 40 minute jaunt.
Once you are at the end of the trail, you have the entire pioneer homestead to explore - devilish blacksmiths at their forge, the Bluff Country Storytellers spinning ghost stories, witches serving free cider and treats or get your fortune told by a real fortuneteller!
For the scaredy cats or youngsters, come on Saturday night for the pumpkin walk only - no spooks or heart-pounding scares.
