The Waushara County Historical Society Museum in Wautoma will celebrate Halloween from 7 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 22 & 29. Walk through the museum to view the exhibits. Visit the solitary confinement cell where Ed Gein, America's most bizarre murderer was locked up the night he was arrested. A VHS tape of the movie Ed Gein will be show on a small TV in the same cell. See a cell where a prisoner hung himself in 1941. His ghost is said to be haunting the building.

Take Highways 21 & 73 to downtown Wautoma. Turn south at the stop light on to S. Saint Marie Street and go 2 blocks.The museum is located at the corner of 221 S. Saint Marie St. & Elm St. Visitor parking is available between the museum and the court house. Enter via the front door. The museum phone number is 920-787-7584.
