Halloween Hodgepodge

Freaky Friday the 13th

Those who suffer from friggatriskaidekaphobia (fear of Friday the 13th) may want to stay home this Friday as a rare occurrence takes place. Not only is it the first and only Friday the 13th of 2014, but it coincides with a full moon. The next occurrence of a Friday the 13th with a full moon won’t happen for another 35 years!

If you choose to stay in, you can watch a marathon of summer camp murders, AKA Friday the 13th movies (4, 5 & 6), on MOVIES! TV Network  starting at 7am.

For those brave souls who venture out, you may want to head over to Green Bay and visit the Green Bay Fear haunted house. They’ll only be open on Friday the 13th from 7-11pm and admission is just $10.

On your way there you may want to consider purchasing a lottery ticket. According to a CNN article a British couple won $17 million several years ago after buying their lottery ticket on Friday 13th AND had a mirror break at their home.  Perhaps Friday the 13th isn't so bad after all.
