We are in for a beautiful fall weekend. The trees are changing colors and haunted attractions are starting to open for the season. Along with the many pumpkin patches open this weekend, other events taking place include fall festivals, corn mazes, ghost walks, haunted attractions and a zombie pub crawl. We're now at 90 days until Halloween with more Halloween goodies creeping into stores. Yankee Candle held their annual Halloween Preview Party today to show off their new Boney Bunch items and some other Halloween decor that will be back in stores in September. So far we've seen Halloween goodies at Cracker Barrel, Costco, Dollar Tree, Michaels, Big Lots, Walmart, Shopko. We've also spotted pumpkin beer at Discount Liquor and Woodman's. It's that time of year again! Get in the Halloween spirit this Saturday at Yankee Candle. Stop in for treats, fall scents, Halloween decor and 17 new Boney Bunch items. These tend to sell out quickly so be sure to get there early. Andy and I have attended the last couple of preview parties at the Brookfield Square Mall location. They have one employee that loves Halloween and always decorates the store giving it a great spooky atmosphere. Can you believe we're only 100 days away from Halloween already? This summer is flying by quickly! Before we know it we'll be sipping on delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte's and seeing all sorts of pumpkin flavored and scented things. The 2nd annual Wisconsin Zombie Mud Run returns to the Waukesha County Expo Center on Saturday, May 17. The masterminds behind this zombie filled 5K course are the same people who bring you the Wisconsin Feargrounds haunted house every October. The Dominion of Terror haunted house in Sheboygan Wisconsin returns with their "Terror in April" encore show on April 11 & 12.
