If you're in the Chetek area, check out Spook-A-Rama 5 at the Stardust Drive In Movie Theater. Show up in costume to trick or treat from car to car (bring candy to hand out). There will be trophies for best costume, and vehicle decorating, as well as a pumpkin carving contest, bobbing for apples, and coloring contest. While out at Menards today, Andy and I spotted three and half isles of Halloween goodies! Apparently most of it's been out for about a week or so already, and while it may seem early to some, it's never too early for us! Plus, within just a few weeks they'll be bringing out their Christmas items, so buy early!!
Caribou Coffee is getting a head start on and will be serving their pumpkin drinks this Friday. According to their Facebook page, they've improved their recipe, which means I'll be there this Friday to try it out. So far no word on when Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts' or Dunn Brothers will start serving their pumpkin drinks, but hopefully it will be within the next couple of weeks.
