On Saturday October 25th, Icon Entertainment will be presenting the first ever Madison Horror Film Festival. This 18+ event will feature local, international and regional short and feature films in the horror genre. In addition to 12 hours of gut wrenching independent horror, the festival will include Q&A sessions with Puppet Master writer Kenneth J. Hall, Dick Flanigan and John Sveum of Madison's famed Lennies Inferno. We are also proud to announce that B-Movie scream queen, Elske McCain will be in attendance for autograph signings.

We will also be introducing 'Freakshow and the Harlots of Horror', new characters to the horror community. Freakshow and his Ladies will have a very special announcement to make at the festival as well as joining us for the giveaway portion of the evening. Giveaways include a role in the upcoming horror movie 'Incest Death Squad', copies of the DVD 'Trailer Park of Terror' to be released on October 21st as well as autographed literary work by Professor Kim Paffenroth and much more.

All films entered into the event will be judged for awards in the categories of Best feature film, Best Short Film, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography and Audience Choice. As part of the awards, Apprehensive films have offered the winner of the best feature and best short film categories a distribution offer. As a bonus for the best short film category, AAAAAH! Films have offered inclusion on an upcoming DVD of Indy Horror Hits.

Tickets for the event are $15 advance and $18 day of show. All advance ticket holders receive a free pass to the festival pre-party Friday October 24th at the Inferno Nightclub. The pre-party will include special film screenings, a horror movie costume contest and live music with local favorites Helliphant.
