What we do...

Since 2000, Haunted Wisconsin has been providing comprehensive and up-to-date event listings on a variety of Halloween events throughout the state including haunted houses, corn mazes, trick-or-treat dates & times, and pumpkin patches. During the Halloween season, our Review Crew travels to participating haunted attractions to report on their experiences so you have a better idea of what to look forward to. In addition we let you, the visitors review the events you've attended and vote for your favorite haunted attractions!

Why we do it...

We love Halloween! From jack-o-lanterns, to being chased with a chainsaw, it's the best time of the year, and we want to help others enjoy the holiday as well! That's why we work hard to spread the word about all of the various types of Halloween events that take place throughout the state, not only on HauntedWisconsin.com but through our newsletters and social media. We even have a Halloween Store Directory so you know where to find spooky home decor and costumes!

How we got started...

The idea for HauntedWisconsin.com began in 1998 after Jennifer & Andy were looking for haunted houses to attend. At the time there were a few websites that listed haunted attractions throughout the U.S., however these sites provided little information, and the information that was provided was usually out-of-date and didn't provide contact information for the events.

After finding a couple of single state directories but none for Wisconsin, and wishing there was a website that provided current information, we decided to start HauntedWisconsin.com.

Who we are...

Co-Owner / Technical Director Andy Meier Andy eats brains...err, is the brains behind all of the programming and code that goes into the site. Without Andy, HauntedWisconsin.com would not exist! Read Andy's blog

Co-Owner / Web Site Director Jennifer Meier Jennifer deals with all of the content, updates, e-mails, advertising and the rest of what goes into the site. She also loves to decorate for Halloween and her basement is full of Halloween decor. Read Jennifer's blog

Marketing and Communications Director Dan Strelecki (a.k.a. MacabreSnob) Dan has been with HauntedWisconsin.com since 2006 and helps distribute promotional materials, and anything else forced upon him. In the past, Dan helped manage the Review Crew. Read Dan's blog
