We hope everyone has a spooktacular Halloween! There are plenty of spooky movies and shows on tonight and
over 20 haunts and other events are open tonight.
Don't forget, there will be several haunts open this weekend!
Tonight, WAPL will be broadcasting live from Terror on the Fox
for 4 hours. During that time they will be giving away 10 pairs of tickets to the Ozzy Osbourne/Rob Zombie
concert being held in Milwaukee this December!
Be sure to vote in the Visitor's Choice Haunt Awards! The haunts are
still open so keep on voting!
The Day Before Halloween
"Halloween weekend" may be over but that doesn't mean the haunting has stopped! There are
over 20 haunts and other events open tonight
and Halloween night,
plus several will be open this weekend!
If you're in or near the Kenosha area, be sure to check out Haunted Tunnels of UW-Parkside
tonight from 7p.m. - 10p.m. What lurks in the haunted tunnels underneath the university? Will you survive? Admission is just a can of food!
If you can't make it out to Kenosha, or want to watch some toons before you head out, tune into ABC at 7p.m. for
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!
And be sure to vote in the Visitor's Choice Haunt Awards! The haunts are still open so keep
on voting!
Visitors Choice Awards
New this year, is the addition of the Visitor's Choice Haunt Awards. You can now vote for parts of haunts you have gone to. Did you think the haunt you went to had a great actor? Did it improve over the previous year? You can vote for which haunts were the best! We'll keep track of who's in the running and at the end of the season, announce the winners!

The Travel Channel offers two Halloween shows including "Halloween's Most Extreme"
- the biggest, the boldest and the absolute best of what Halloween has to offer and

HGTV presnts "What's With That Really Haunted Halloween House?"
See how one family turns their yard into a family-friendly amusement park to Lockport, Ill., where an offbeat
couple decorates their yard and garage with things like an authentic hearse and casket, these folks go all out!
SCREAM 2007
Spike TV's "SCREAM 2007" will be on tonight at 9pm CST. Tune in
to see who wins for categories such as "The Ultimate Scream," "Best Horror Movie," "Best Comic Book,"
"Fantasy Fox" and "Most Memorable Mutilation,". Alice Cooper will be presented with the second annual Spike
TV SCREAM Rock Immortal Award, an honor given to Ozzy Osbourne last year. This tribute will include a monster
All-Star performance featuring Rob Zombie and Slash. The "Prince of Darkness," Ozzy Osbourne returns to the
event this year to perform in addition to Avenged Sevenfold.

Andy, Dan and I will be at several haunts this weekend including Terror on Rural Street, , Hubertus House of Horror, Hartford Jaycees, Burial Chamber and A Theater of Lost Souls. The Nightmare Before Christmas - In 3D!
Starting tomorrow you can see Jack and Sally like you've never seen them before, in 3D! Select theaters will be showing The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D for the next three weeks. Call your local theater for show times.

Be sure to tune into ABC on October 30th at 7pm CST to watch the classic, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

If you want shorter lines and wait times, check out the haunts open this Thursday! You can also enjoy some other Halloween activities including corn mazes and hayrides.
Terrifying Television
As mentioned earlier, starting October 19th, the ABC Family Channel will be bringing back their
13 Nights of Halloween
which begins this Friday. Check out their updated site for videos, games and schedule.
Also starting this Friday is the Sci-Fi channels
13 Days of Halloween.

Finally, AMC has added the 2007 Monsterfest page. This includes
links to their schedule, monster photo galleries, videos along with several other items including a
sweepstakes where you could win a Classic
Monsters DVD set, featuring 25 Monster movies. Be sure to tune beginning October 22.

Halloween Haunts on TODAY'S TMJ4
TODAY'S TMJ4 in Milwaukee will be bringing back their Halloween Haunts courtesty of Goodwill. See spooky homes every night starting October 16th. If you've seen a spooky spot in your neighborhood, just submit a picture or location to or upload your pictures and video to YouNewsTV.

A Spooktacular Thank You
Thank you to the Sheboygan Jaycees: Dominion of Terror and Splatter Haus for a spooktacular time Saturday night! Even with heat, the actors at both haunts were very dedicated and stayed in character the entire time. The Jaycees even made the two girls who went in with us cry! Both haunts feature unique scenes and scares. Splatter Haus is geared toward an older crowd and makes everything in their haunt. Be prepared to scream, squeeze through spaces and slide to hell!
Halloween TV
Feeling crafty? Check out DIY's "Witching Hour"
featuring Halloween crafting episodes every weekday throughout October from 11am-Noon. "Witch Craft" is a
great five-part series which premiered this week.
And of course you can't talk crafts without brining up Martha. Hate her or love her; she does right by Halloween.

Nothing to do tomorrow night? Head up to Terror on the Fox
in Green Bay. They're open EVERY THURSDAY in October and have added a second haunt;
Torment - Clowns, Vertigo, Claustrophobia, Chainsaws, Darkness,
Electricity, Snakes, Rats, Heights and more await you!

Fall Colors
Fall officially begins on Sunday! It sure felt like fall last week and even though the warm weather is back, the leaves are beginning their beautiful change. Check out Travel Wisconsin's Fall Color Report to keep track of where you can see the changing colors throughout the state.
Haunts Open Next Weekend!
Several haunts will open their doors for the season
next weekend!
Currently scheduled to be open next Friday and Saturday are
Burial Chamber Haunted Complex in Neenah and
Terror on the Fox & Torment in Green Bay.
Also open on Friday but open through Sunday is
Haunted Cornfield at Meadowbrook Market in West Bend.
And finally, DeWayne Asylum in Green Bay will open on
both Saturday and Sunday.
Make sure you take a trip out to these haunts and tell them HauntedWisconsin.com sent you!

The Legend Trip at Times Cinema
Watch Milwaukee's very own Jason Satterfield's horror film, "The Legend Trip" this Saturday at the Times Cinema in Milwaukee, and meet the cast and crew! I spot something orange
This past Saturday Andy and I stopped at Factory Card Outlet in Brookfield
to see if they had any Halloween stuff out yet, and they did!
While driving back home something bright orange caught my eye. I pulled into the shopping center where I spotted it and
there it was -- a Halloween Express SUV!
We also spotted Michael Myers in the window of
the old CompUSA store.
We've added this location to our Halloween Store Directory and will add more information
when we get it.
Halloween Shopping
With Halloween only 85 days away and haunts opening in less than two months, it's time to start thinking about decorating
and costumes. Bartz's began brining out their Halloween merchandise shortly after the
4th of July and Halloween Express will be opening a store this Thursday
at 720 N. Casaloma Dr. in Appleton

Grave Sights 7th Annual Hearse Meat
Checkout some terrorific hearses and hot rods on Saturday, August 18 at the 7th annual Grave Sights Hearse Meat. Stop by Kelly's Pub (Trevor, WI) at 1pm to see a parking lot full of hearses of all makes & models, casket & coffin and Halloween displays. There will also be live music, raffles, trophies, G.S. t-shirts & bumper stickers, a horror costume contest, a bonfire at dusk, and more.
The registration/entrance fee is $10.00 and includes beer, soda, bottled water, and one free raffle ticket.

Friday the 13th will be upon us yet again this Friday, but on Saturday, October 27, you can meet Pamela Voorhees from
Friday the 13th Part One in person!
Betsy Palmer will be in Milwaukee at
Graveyard Records & Collectables
signing autographs for all her devoted children. The signing will be from 12pm-7pm on October 27. Everyone who has a ticket
is guaranteed to meet Betsy Palmer! Ticket sales are expected to get cut off at some point so don't delay in getting your

The Search for the Next Elvira
According to Fox Reality, on Friday, July 13, an open "Casket Call" will
be held at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA for their upcoming original series "The Search for the Next Elvira." Thirteen participants
will be picked and Elvira will be crowned with her new title "Queen of Halloween."
"The Search for the Next Elvira" is a reality series consisting of three, hour-long episodes during which contestants will compete to
see if they can look the part, and present the same wit, poise and courage as the real Elvira in hopes of portraying one of Halloween's
most recognizable icons. Following the second episode on October 20, audience members can vote for their favorite aspiring Elvira who
will be crowned as the next "Mistress of the Dark" during the LIVE finale on Halloween.

Summer of Screams!
Summer in Wisconsin will never be the same...

The dead walk again
The second brew city zombie walk will take place on Saturday, June 2nd. The first stop will
be Comedysportz (420 s. 1st in Milwaukee) at 7pm. This will be a pub crawl, so you gotta be 21 or older
to get in the bars with your fellow zombies.

Halloween in February starts this Wednesday!
The TransWorld Halloween, Costume & Party Show
will be held this Thursday through Monday in Rosemont, IL. This will be the last time the show
will be held in Illinois. Beginning in 2008, the show will move to Las Vegas, so if you've got
a small budget, and are in the haunt industry, be sure to head down to Rosemont this week!
We'll also be taking Frozen Tundra Fright Tour
on Wednesday. The tour has sold out, so if you didn't buy tickets, you'll be missing out on lots of
fun and fright!
Halloween & Haunted Houses in February
If you're in the haunt industry or are looking to get into it, then you must attend
TransWorld's Halloween, Costume & Party Show in Chicago (Rosemont).
This years show will take place February 23 - 26, 2007. Be sure to check out
HauntShow.com for a listing of seminars and other events also taking place.
They day before the show be sure to check out the
Frozen Tundra Fright Tour! The tour includes transportation
to and from all haunts, lights off tours of Burial Chamber
and Blood City Haunted Houses, lights off and lights on tours
of Terror on the Fox Haunted Attraction, including behind
the scenes operations, light lunch, catered dinner, social gathering, guest speaker, door prizes and a raffle!
