We hope everyone has a spooktacular Halloween! There are plenty of spooky movies and shows on tonight and
over 20 haunts and other events are open tonight.
Don't forget, there will be several haunts open this weekend!
Tonight, WAPL will be broadcasting live from Terror on the Fox
for 4 hours. During that time they will be giving away 10 pairs of tickets to the Ozzy Osbourne/Rob Zombie
concert being held in Milwaukee this December!

"Halloween weekend" may be over but that doesn't mean the haunting has stopped! There are
over 20 haunts and other events open tonight
and Halloween night,
plus several will be open this weekend!
If you're in or near the Kenosha area, be sure to check out Haunted Tunnels of UW-Parkside
tonight from 7p.m. - 10p.m. What lurks in the haunted tunnels underneath the university? Will you survive? Admission is just a can of food!
If you can't make it out to Kenosha, or want to watch some toons before you head out, tune into ABC at 7p.m. for
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

New this year, is the addition of the Visitor's Choice Haunt Awards. You can now vote for parts of haunts you have gone to. Did you think the haunt you went to had a great actor? Did it improve over the previous year? You can vote for which haunts were the best! We'll keep track of who's in the running and at the end of the season, announce the winners!

The Travel Channel offers two Halloween shows including "Halloween's Most Extreme"
- the biggest, the boldest and the absolute best of what Halloween has to offer and
"America's Scariest Halloween Attractions"

HGTV presnts "What's With That Really Haunted Halloween House?"
See how one family turns their yard into a family-friendly amusement park to Lockport, Ill., where an offbeat
couple decorates their yard and garage with things like an authentic hearse and casket, these folks go all out!
Spike TV's "SCREAM 2007" will be on tonight at 9pm CST. Tune in
to see who wins for categories such as "The Ultimate Scream," "Best Horror Movie," "Best Comic Book,"
"Fantasy Fox" and "Most Memorable Mutilation,". Alice Cooper will be presented with the second annual Spike
TV SCREAM Rock Immortal Award, an honor given to Ozzy Osbourne last year. This tribute will include a monster
All-Star performance featuring Rob Zombie and Slash. The "Prince of Darkness," Ozzy Osbourne returns to the
event this year to perform in addition to Avenged Sevenfold.

Starting tomorrow you can see Jack and Sally like you've never seen them before, in 3D! Select theaters will be showing The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D for the next three weeks. Call your local theater for show times.

Thank you to the Sheboygan Jaycees: Dominion of Terror and Splatter Haus for a spooktacular time Saturday night! Even with heat, the actors at both haunts were very dedicated and stayed in character the entire time. The Jaycees even made the two girls who went in with us cry! Both haunts feature unique scenes and scares. Splatter Haus is geared toward an older crowd and makes everything in their haunt. Be prepared to scream, squeeze through spaces and slide to hell!

great five-part series which premiered this week.

Burial Chamber Haunted Complex in Neenah and
Terror on the Fox & Torment in Green Bay.
Also open on Friday but open through Sunday is
Haunted Cornfield at Meadowbrook Market in West Bend.
And finally, DeWayne Asylum in Green Bay will open on
both Saturday and Sunday.

This past Saturday Andy and I stopped at Factory Card Outlet in Brookfield
to see if they had any Halloween stuff out yet, and they did!
While driving back home something bright orange caught my eye. I pulled into the shopping center where I spotted it and
there it was -- a Halloween Express SUV!
We also spotted Michael Myers in the window of
the old CompUSA store.
We've added this location to our Halloween Store Directory and will add more information
when we get it.
With Halloween only 85 days away and haunts opening in less than two months, it's time to start thinking about decorating
and costumes. Bartz's began brining out their Halloween merchandise shortly after the
4th of July and Halloween Express will be opening a store this Thursday
at 720 N. Casaloma Dr. in Appleton

Checkout some terrorific hearses and hot rods on Saturday, August 18 at the 7th annual Grave Sights Hearse Meat. Stop by Kelly's Pub (Trevor, WI) at 1pm to see a parking lot full of hearses of all makes & models, casket & coffin and Halloween displays. There will also be live music, raffles, trophies, G.S. t-shirts & bumper stickers, a horror costume contest, a bonfire at dusk, and more.
The registration/entrance fee is $10.00 and includes beer, soda, bottled water, and one free raffle ticket.

According to Fox Reality, on Friday, July 13, an open "Casket Call" will
be held at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA for their upcoming original series "The Search for the Next Elvira." Thirteen participants
will be picked and Elvira will be crowned with her new title "Queen of Halloween."
"The Search for the Next Elvira" is a reality series consisting of three, hour-long episodes during which contestants will compete to
see if they can look the part, and present the same wit, poise and courage as the real Elvira in hopes of portraying one of Halloween's
most recognizable icons. Following the second episode on October 20, audience members can vote for their favorite aspiring Elvira who
will be crowned as the next "Mistress of the Dark" during the LIVE finale on Halloween.

The TransWorld Halloween, Costume & Party Show
will be held this Thursday through Monday in Rosemont, IL. This will be the last time the show
will be held in Illinois. Beginning in 2008, the show will move to Las Vegas, so if you've got
a small budget, and are in the haunt industry, be sure to head down to Rosemont this week!
We'll also be taking Frozen Tundra Fright Tour
on Wednesday. The tour has sold out, so if you didn't buy tickets, you'll be missing out on lots of
fun and fright!
