Join West Bend author and paranormal investigator J. Nathan Couch for a haunting experience: Downtown West Bend’s first ever ghost walk! Historical information is blended with local legends and eyewitness accounts on this leisurely stroll past an assortment of alleged spooks, specters, and spirits. The West Bend Ghost Walk is held on select dates or by appointment (see details below). Groups meet at the corner of 5th Ave. and Chestnut St. at 7:00pm in near the Old Sheriff’s Residence and Jail). The walking route is roughly 1.2 miles (15 blocks), some of it uphill. Each walk lasts around 90 minutes depending on each group’s enthusiasm and athleticism. It’s recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Once the walk reaches Downtown there will be an opportunity for drinks, snacks, and a bathroom break. The cost is $10.00 (cash only). The tour is family friendly but recommended for ages 12 and up. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Imprisoned Spirits: Haunted Museum Tours is back with new personal experiences and recently uncovered historical anecdotes. HauntedWisconsin's very own Director of Marketing, Communications and Special Operations, Dan Strelecki (that's me!) will be on the Portage County airwaves this afternoon. I will be a guest on the What's Your Story show, hosted by Hilary Bilbrey, from 12:20 until 1pm. Tune into WSPT AM1010 for some frightful tales.
Two more Halloween cartoons will on this October! Local Milwaukee station will be showing Fat Albert's Halloween Special today at 5:30pm and tomorrow (Halloween) from 7-9pm. And ABC will be showing Scared Shrekless on Halloween at 7pm.
Rudy and his new friend Devery plan to spend Halloween playing practical jokes on the elderly. They both take aim on Mrs. Bakewell, an old widow living in a spooky house by the graveyard. But the kids get the ultimate scare when two of them don't return from "trick or treating!" Did Mrs. Bakewell have something to do with their mysterious disappearance?
Halloween is Shrek’s favorite holiday – but instead of the usual tricks or treats, Shrek ups the ante and challenges the gang to spend the night telling scary stories. The last one to be scared Shrekless wins.
The HauntedWisconsin.com staff just went through Dominion of Terror in Sheboygan and the entire experience was fantastic. We were disturbed in the nursing home, eaten by zombies in the graveyard, soiled in a very unsanitary bathroom and disoriented and startled in many other scenes.
Dominion of Terror is open tonight, Sunday night, and Monday night. Do not miss this event!
