About

The 2nd annual Sauk Prairie Zombie Apocalypse Run will take place at Camp Carlson next to the Wisconsin River. This is a trail/wooded run during autumn. The run starts and finishes at Camp Carlson this year. There are several hills, obstacles (newly constructed this year) and zombies trying to eat your brain. This is not a timed event, we really just want to feed the zombies.

Runners have flags representing lives, bring a donation for the food bank and get an extra life! Post race party will be held at a local bar with outside venue.

Event details and schedule
There are 2 different run times:

4:30 pm and 6:30 pm. The 4:30 race is for everyone and not so scary for younger people. Zombies start to wake up at dusk so the 6:30 run will be in the dark so more fear, more mayhem. The course is trail and gravel road; please dress according to the weather.

Arrival time is ½ hour before your race time to insure you can get your race packet and line up in time. Runners will be sent out in waves (we have to make it fair for the zombies, right?)

Limited parking is available at Camp Carlson, overflow parking will be available across the road Wollersheim Winery.

Glow sticks, flashlights, headlamps are all o.k. We ask you try not to shine lights into the eyes of other runners or zombies (they were once people too….)
