Signage / Visibility / Location

I did not have much trouble finding the location, but my friend did. I did not see any signs along the way and had to go out and find my friends to lead them to the haunt.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

We did not have much of a wait which is probably a good thing since there was no waiting area entertainment at all.

Most Unique

The room scenes were sort of cool, especially because it was themed around one of my favorite movies. They also did a good job of explaining the haunt rules, certainly more unique than I have seen in the past.

Actors' Performance

The actors in this haunt did a pretty good job of staying in character; it was sort of funny because at one point during the haunt one of the actors had a bit of a cough so when he jumped out I was not surprised at all. There is a lot of sudden jump out type scaring throughout this haunt.

Summary

I traveled down from Milwaukee which means that it was a pretty long drive. Given the fact that we did not really have a wait, the haunt seemed to go by way to fast. We also had a security guard following us which sort of ruined the mood.

Signage / Visibility / Location

It was a pretty easy to find location. There are plenty of signs.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

I was not too impressed with this aspect of the haunt because I only saw a couple of actors and they were not trying to be scary/intimidating. The overall atmosphere did not build up suspense or anything of that sort.

Most Unique

There were several room themes which seemed pretty unique to me; I will not name them because that might take away from the element of surprise.

Actors' Performance

As stated in my bio, it takes a lot to scare me. I was not scared by this haunt. My group of girls jumped maybe twice, but that was it. The actors are quite young and overall I found it difficult not to have a few chuckles at some of their expressions.

Summary

A few of the characters did a great job of staying in character. As I said earlier, there were a few rooms in this haunt that incorporate themes that I have not seen before.

Signage / Visibility / Location

It was very easy to find once you are on Mileview Road. If you continue down the road you will easily see it.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

The wait area was one of the best that I had seen. Theres a fire (which was really nice because it was quite cold out) as well as a few small shops and places to buy something to eat. It would have been great to see a few actors walking around, but it is alright that there werent.

Most Unique

The whole feel of the haunt is quite nice. The fact that you are in the middle of no where makes it even better because when you leave the haunt, there is still a feeling of suspense in the air. This haunt also has a superb waiting area which made waiting not as boring.

Actors' Performance

They did a fantastic job. I brought a few friends with me (two of which were females) and they screamed their heads off the entire way. This was my second haunted house of the night and the actors did a great job of impressing me.

Summary

This haunt has recieved good reviews in the past, and I am not about to diagree with those. There were periods of time when you dont see any actors in the trail, but there are a few occassions where the actors that you do see make up for it (esp with a few of their sound effects).

Signage / Visibility / Location

I have been to this event in the past so I was familiar with the area. Absolutely no signage that I saw as I entered the area, but when driving by the haunt you could see that something was up because of the long line and strobe light entrance.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

The wait area is a simple rope and bucket anchor system. There were a few actors walking around which was nice. One of the actors seemed to be more of a comedian than someone who was trying to scare actors while the other one was a random girl in a straight jacket screaming. The wait time went fast but I wish that the comedian actor would have stopped trying to be funny; it kind of ruined the mood outside. Given the location it is hard to be upset about the lack of decorating; there is no decorating at all.

Most Unique

I liked the stairway up to the haunt itself, the glow in the dark paint was fun. There was also some interesting scenes setup within the haunt which gave me a break from seeing the same scenes everytime.

Actors' Performance

The actors did a good job inside. I wished that they had gotten up in my face a bit more instead of keeping a distance. I do understand that there is a strict we wont touch you so dont touch us policy at the haunt but at least get as close as you can. There were a few instances where the actors were able to catch me by surprise, however on the other hand there were also plenty of times when I could cleary see the actor and therefore anticipated movement.

Summary

I have visited this haunt every year for several years now. It is a relativly short haunt, in total it took me approximately 10 minutes to complete (I even walked slowly).

As far as parking is concerned, try parking on one of the lots located on 8th street; right next to the haunt. Lock your car and dress warmly since it will be a very cold wait. When I first entered the line, it was stretched around the corner of the block. In total the whole wait time took me about 25-30 minutes.

As it says in my bio, I am a very hard critic when it comes to the scare factor. The two people that I was with had plenty of moments of being scared. If you are looking for an event to bring your girlfriend to, then this place will do the job, but if you are looking for a haunt that will scare the crap out of you, you may want to look elsewhere.

Signage / Visibility / Location

From Milwaukee, it would have been a bit confusing if I hadnt have been as familiar with the area as I was. Once reaching the expo center however, there are signs all over the palce.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

The wait area is nothing really special, they did have actors walking through however none of them were trying to be up in your face scary; a couple even stopped and talked with a few people in the queue line.

Most Unique

The design of the rooms; there was not much repetition so each room was a different experience.

Actors' Performance

The waiting area actors were a bit unexperienced and did not do a good job impressing me however several of the actors inside the haunt itself did a fantastic job playing their roles.

Appropriate For

12 and older

Summary

If your looking for an event that has a good layout but not necessarily the scariest of events (at least for people like me that rarely get scared). The whole event lasted approximately 20 minutes.
