Review

Signage / Visibility / Location

The directions from the website made it really easy to find. There weren't any signs, but once you get there, you can't miss it.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

The wait is just a line ouside, so dress warm. There were actors walking around scaring people and loud heavy metal.

Most Unique

The strip club room was funny-the male stripper was totally hitting on the guy i was with. Also the actors are allowed to touch you.

Actors' Performance

They had some of the best makeup i've seen yet, and they didn't break character once. Alot of them made the same noises, which was kind of repetative, and a few were more funny than scary.

Appropriate For

13+

Summary

It was fun overall. Them being allowed to touch made it freakier. There was more darkness than i remember, which was a little disappointing. A couple of rooms were just dark with nothing happening. The actors were very enthusiastic and good at keeping us from running into anyone else-almost felt like we were the only ones there.

The Morgue Haunted House

Review

Signage / Visibility / Location

It's pretty easy to find if you have good directions, but the only sign is right on frnt of the event.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

Get there early-we waited for 2 1/2 hrs. The wait to get tickets was like 30 min and there were these little kids running around with chainsaws. The wait for the house is cool-there's a bonfire, loud music and concessions.

Most Unique

The bridge.

Actors' Performance

There were no actors in the woods, which was disappointing. There was a serious lack of them in the house as well, and a few that did nothing when we walked past, just stood there staring. The kids with chainsaws weren't even dressed up, and some just stood there chatting with friends.

Summary

90% of it is walking/crawling in the dark. Lots of people were lost, and we kept running into the people in front of us. I was disappointed in the actors performance/lack of actors. Maybe we came on a bad night, but it was not worth waiting 2 1/2 hrs. Last year was way better.

Signage / Visibility / Location

If ur not familiar with GB, u will need directions as there is only one sign right outside the event.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

Covered waiting for the train, and a cool walk thru the woods to the house. The facade is always cool and the music was very loud. Good job getting us in the mood.

Most Unique

As always, the train is unique, and i love the caves. I also liked the room u have to go thru the closet full of clothes.

Actors' Performance

Although i think their costumes/makeup could be scarier, they never broke character and the scares were timed well.

Summary

It was fun. The rooms and props are the best-u can tell they put alot of $ into it. I didn't like the fact that a few of the actors were trying to rush along, as there is alot to see. I was also very disappointed they took the Vortex out of the house and charge an extra $3 to go thru it. I think it works much better when ur already disoriented from walking thru the house.

Signage / Visibility / Location

We didn't see any signs off the highway, so if you don't know where you're going, you may need to ask for directions. There are signs once you get to the road it's on.

Wait Area / Line Entertainment

Loud heavy metal, concessions, and one of the actors walking around scaring people.

Most Unique

It was very creative-you could tell they put a lot of work into it. I loved that it was indoor and outdoor.

Actors' Performance

They did an awesome job, before entering and during the haunt. They were really into it, and they gave enough time between groups so we got the full effects of each room.

Summary

I've been going to Dead by Dawn haunts for the last 5 yrs, and they have yet to disappoint me. Although i have to say this one was way better than the one in Whitelaw last year.
