Set to look like a huge crypt, the Darkness had tons of special effects, good actors and great ambience. Maybe could have been a bit longer. The facade is pretty cool to.

Summary
Having a theme and storyline associated with this haunt was pretty cool. Most of the scenes were built and designed really well! Unfortunately, we got put through with a larger group and missed some of the scares. I think that it could have been a bit longer in the end, but overall worth the price of admission (a bit lower than a lot of the big haunts in the area!)

Summary
This haunt is the sleeper of haunted attractions. I'm surprised that there isn't more of a buzz about it. Mya friends and I were incredibly impressed. Has a real rustic, Taxas Chainsaw / Deliverence vibe to it. You never know when one of the multitude of actors will pop out at you. We all highly suggest it!

Although there were some pacing problems, the haunt was really good over all!! The tableaus were upgraded this year and the size of the corn maze is huge!

Complete overhaul from years past. Usually I'm not a fan of the industrial / Sci-Fi versions of haunts. But, this haunt was a complete overhaul of years past. It was completley new with a ton of new special effects and sets! All of it done incredibly well!!!

Summary
Well, it was advertised that both the 3D maze and the Zombie Trail were to be opened for this haunt. Fo some reason the Zombie trail was not ready. So we went through the only adult haunt available, the 3D maze.
The effect of the 3D imagery coming from the walls was very cool. The few acotrs they had inside were well costumed and great at scares. However the haunt was VERY quick, well under 10 minutes. And outside of the beautiful 3D murals on the walls, there weren't that many special effects or ambience. DOn't know if it was worth the $10 for a 5 minute maze.

Summary
Like last year, this haunt had a lot of energy and adrenalin behind it. However it seemed to be almost an exact replica of last year. They also heavily relied on dark mazes which made up a good 80 to 90% of thier show. More scenes, less dark mazes and something new would have made it as good as last year. But still a good show.

The fact that the stalks are very tall and close together, make th experience much creepier than expected. They actually put forth an effert to have "scenes" within the maze.

Summary
The whole show this year was fun for all of us, as usual!! But, some of the effects are getting a tad old. I do like the way they try and reinvent them every year, but I'm starting to know what's coming when I walk into a room and see a specific effect. I know it's cost effective, but....

The Harford JC's always astound me twith the level of detail that they put into the sets. When you're not being scared, it's fun to take a close look at what's in the rooms to see all the detail that other haunts sometimes skimp on.

Summary
This was all around good fun. The short haunted trail on your way up to the spooky old house is right out of a classic horror movie. The house itself was heavy on scenery and scenarios that were put together very well. Lot's of little details that made this Haunt lots of fun. Not that many dark mazes to trod through.
I gues it could have been a bit scarier, but over all a very worthy Haunt!!!

Summary
It was refreshing to see the whole show completely revamped. Even the facade at the beginning was changed. Gone was the ornate, effects ladden Castle and drawbridge. In it's place a more subtle and very creepy alley way to a Coffin Company. Once again Terror on Rural Street does a wonderful job in the dark attraction business. Many incredible effects and dark mazes. The only things I was a bit disappointed about was the facts that they relied too heavily on dark mazes. It almost felt that over half the time you were feeling around in the dark, which is very frightening at first but can get old pretty quick. The other thing was that they didn't seem to have as many dramatic scenes as they had in the past. However, the effects and scenes that they did have were all excellent!! The wax museum scenario was top notch!
Agian it was a yearly favorite! I'll most certainly go next year!!!
