Green Bay Fear is a MASTER in 3d effect. Most haunts rely on the heavy luminescent colors to create scares, but Green Bay Fear using the 3d effect to enhance the already very scary sets and props. The detail in each room is very realistic and the actors are very well placed, I'm not even certain if some of the noise coming from the actors was human. It has been a LONG time since a haunted attraction has made me scream, but Green Bay Fear accomplished this goal not once, but TWICE.

I walked over the general admission area and I believe I saw they had a PSYCHIC doing readings in the wait area along with other entertainment. The wait is outside so please be conscious of the weather!
As you begin to the haunted house there is a very awesome haunted trail that is dimly lit with torches. The trail lasted about 12 minutes and the ghouls are very well placed for maximum scare.

Terror on the Fox is back again with their 15th year of fear! Located at the
National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Terror on the Fox is home to 4
separate haunted attractions, including the ONLY haunted train ride in
WI and perhaps the Midwest! It is the haunted train ride and large
collection of ghoulish props that keep visitors (including myself)
returning every year. I have been attending Terror on the Fox every
year since they first opened and it is great to see fan favorites such
as the vortex, claustrophobia, and giant room sized animatronics
returning each year. There were quite a few "hiccups" (lack of actors,
no 3d glasses, and props that were not working) when I attended this
year, but I am assuming that is because it was opening weekend.
Finding the Terror on the Fox should be easy even to the foreigner as
there are huge billboards off the interstate boasting their existence.
Parking is free and they have a very LARGE selection of souvenirs
available for purchase (including a haunted house night light). I
purchased a hot cocoa and a LARGE cookie to enjoy while we waited ...
but since the line was so short, we were asked to toss our beverages
before boarding the train. Most of the wait is uncovered, so make sure
to dress weather appropriate and wear shoes that may get muddy. While
you wait there are large projection screens displaying numerous ghoulish
videos to entertain you.
The train is an old double decker passenger car and visitors can choose
to ride up top or on the main floor. Smoke and strobe lights fill the
aisles while ghouls appear from beneath and above. Passengers leave the
depot never to be seen returning. The train ride lasted about 15
minutes and it takes you along the river, through a woods, and past
several antique train cars.
Once you exit the train, if you purchased a combo pass you are guided to
the entrance of "3rd Dimension of Fear", if you purchased general
admission you will do a brief walk through the woods and head straight
to the main house. We chose combo and headed for the "3rd Dimension of
Fear".
The wait was not long and soon we were inside the "3rd Dimension of
Fear". I'm not certain if they were out of 3d glasses or if they had
not come in yet, but we were not given any 3d glasses. The fluorescent
paints, props, and costumes looked harmless without the 3d effect. The
"3rd Dimension of Fear" had a very creepy circus theme, but lack of
actors (only 2) left more to be desired. If this particular attraction
had been in 3d and had more actors it would have made the extra $7 well
worth it! The "3rd Dimension of Fear" lasted about 12 minutes. As soon
as we exited the "3rd Dimension of Fear" we found ourselves entering
the "Void".
The "Void" is exactly as it sounds ... completely void of anything but
darkness. You will find yourself walking, arms stretched out, in a maze
of complete darkness. You may even find yourself trapped and having to
retrace your path to find a way out. The "Void" took us 9 minutes to
complete. Once we exited the "Void", there was a brief walk through the
woods up to the main haunt, "Ominous Sanctum".
Ominous Sanctum is the main attraction and worth far more than the $13 general admission. The amazingly realistic design make this portion of the haunt seem as if you just stepped foot in to your worst nightmare. The rooms are laid out perfectly and there is no "down time". Every actor was right on cue and even when we got close to their face, we couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't. You can clearly tell that years of hard work have gone into this haunt and it is time well spent! The entire house took 25 minutes to go through and there wasn't a single repeated room or blank spot on the wall. Ominous Sanctum definitely puts Terror on the Fox at the top.
In conclusion, the total time it took us to complete all the attractions collectively was just over an hour. I would probably skip the extra haunts and head straight to the main event, at $13 you can not find a better bargain for such a well planned house! Although for an extra $7 if 3rd Dimension of Fear has 3d glasses and more actors I would definitely consider spending the extra money. 15 seasons and Terror on the Fox keeps getting better, I already can't wait to see how much they grow in the next 15 years!

Burial Chamber Haunted House Complex

Review
The Burial Chamber remains one of the most popular haunted attractions in Wisconsin. The lines of screaming fans waiting to enter the attraction is only a small indication of their popularity. This year they are back and better than ever! If you are a thrill seeking adrenaline junkie then The Burial Chamber is for you. They are also the largest haunted attraction in Wisconsin. With two very different haunted houses, a haunted woods, and a burial simulator you can plan on making an "evening" of fear.
The Burial Chambers popularity was evident the moment we arrived and noticed the line for tickets was at least 60 people deep. I was slightly discouraged by the long line and almost didn't attend the haunt. Instead of waiting in the regular line I opted for the VIP line hoping to cut wait time drastically. The wait for tickets in the VIP line was at least a half hour long! If the weather is bad you could probably experience a much shorter wait, but be aware that all of the waiting is outside and Phobia is entirely outside. The lines for each attraction were also very long and you should expect to spend a lot of time outside waiting. There were a few ghouls wandering the lines spooking guests which made the wait seem shorter.
The first house we visited was Adrenaline. As the name states Adrenaline is meant to make your heart palpitate, if you have a heart condition I highly recommend against attending this portion. From the moment you step foot in Adrenaline you are caught off guard by in your face actors and loud noises. Most of Adrenaline is very dark, but you can occasionally make out the faces of some of your worst nightmares. The floor sinks, the walls shrink, and if I hadn't been cowering I would swear I almost got hit by a car. The actors don't just say "boo", they shriek and come at you with a lot of loud props meant to startle you. There were no dead spots and every actor was right on target. The crowd control was perfect as we never once ran into another group. I bet my partner that he would scream in Adrenaline and I won within the first 5 minutes of being in the house. The total time we spent in the haunt was 22 minutes.
The next attraction we visited was Phobia. Phobia is not your typical walk in the woods. The dark path and the moon glistening on the trees created a perfect "horror movie" atmosphere. In the past Phobia has been my least favorite attraction at The Burial Chamber, but this year the actors were right on target. The only bad thing I have to say about Phobia is that I wish it would have lasted longer. The total time it took us to walk Phobia was 13 minutes.
The final attraction we attended was Insanity. To say that it was "insane" is an understatement. I would compare some of the actors in this haunt to circus freaks. They climb walls and do things that I didn't even know was humanly possible ... perhaps they were NOT human? There is a lot of interaction with the actors in insanity and the costumes were gory and very realistic. The rooms are set up so that an actor could be across the room at one moment and in your face in one second. Don't be surprised if you feel drips of blood trickling down your back or if you are sprayed by a corpse's guts. The total walk through time of Insanity was 19 minutes.
We bypassed the burial simulator this year, but from previous experience it is just one of those things you need to try once. The cameras weren't working so you couldn't watch your friend's faces as they are buried alive (the best part).
Although the lines were long there are plenty of treats and souvenirs to help pass the time. They have the most amazing warm doughnuts and everything from corn dogs to hot cider. The only thing that would turn The Burial Chamber from "amazing" to "out of this world outstanding" would be a better wait area. Perhaps an indoor seating area with entertainment (however it would have to be a large area to support that many people).

Review
Neenah's Most Haunted celebrated their 25th year of fear this year. Neenah's Most Haunted is a non-profit haunt and all the proceeds go to help youth in the area. There are no animatronics and all of the rooms are designed by the students themselves. I have often said that the imagination of the youth is much more creative than most adults and they contribute greatly to anything "haunted". The students of Neenah's Most Haunted attend a class in the summer that teaches them how to design and how to scare. The students or "scharacters" (as they are referred to) comprise of up to 70 different actors throughout the entire haunt. The night we attended there were about 40 "scharacters" acting because of homecoming that weekend, but you couldn't tell as every corner masked a ghoul or two.
Finding Neenah's Most Haunted isn't difficult as there is a very well lit sign and plenty of ghouls wandering about the grounds. As we walked to the enterance one of my friends reached for the door of a port-a-potty and a large masked man with a chainsaw came barreling at him. It was at that point that we knew we were in for a real treat! The tickets are only $10 at the door (the most inexpensive I have seen yet) and again they go towards a really good cause. I will admit that the admission price had me concerned that this haunt may not be very scary. Boy was I wrong! From the moment you leave your car until the moment you get back in (that is if you make it out) there are ghouls surrounding you. The wait is outside so be prepared if the weather does not cooperate. The wait to enter the house was brief, but for me it seemed long as a werewolf was intent on making me his next victim.
As we entered the Haunt we were grouped into a clan of 7 people. The introductory room contained two very well versed "scharacters" and they were disturbing in a very good "off-putting" way. They taunted and teased our group until everyone was ready to leave the room screaming. However, we could not find a way out! The theme of mysterious exits echoed throughout the entire house. Nothing was what it seemed and even a veteran would find themselves confused and trapped. Each room was very carefully designed and there was never a point that we felt we were in a "non-profit" haunt!
My biggest moment of fear was walking through a hallway and hearing someone in our group say "those are REAL spider webs". I'm still uncertain if they were or not, I just knew I had to get out of there! You will notice ramps throughout the house, but that is because this haunt is 100% wheel chair accessible. We played a good game of "Ring around the Rosie, but after that each member of our group slowly disappeared. We regrouped and finally found the exit, but to our friends dismay the masked man with a chainsaw found him once again. The entire haunt took us about 25 minutes without a second of downtime. The only bad thing I can say about this haunt is that I wish I would have been able to make it to "The Hallow's", their haunted walk through the woods. The Hallow's is usually put on the opening weekend and is set at Memorial Park. It is only $5 to enjoy the fear of The Hallow's and I look forward to enjoying it next year when Neenah's Most Haunted celebrates their 26th successful year.

Oblivion Haunted House

Review
This is Oblivion’s first year in action. You can purchase tickets online for only $10, but make sure that you purchase them 200 minutes before the house opens that night. When we went to purchase tickets online 2 hours prior to the opening of the attraction it gives a notification that states “tickets must be purchased 200 minutes in advance”.
Walking to the haunted house, the first thing you notice is the smell of treats. They had quite the selections of treats and toys, but chocolate covered bacon is what really caught my eye. I feared the heart attack I might encounter in the haunt, so I did pass on the bacon. As you approach the haunt you can hear loud music and the outside is well decorated with laser effects and props. There were two great areas for dancers, but since we were there right before they opened there were no ghouls in them. Before you reach the outside, you are given the option to purchase glowing necklaces/headbands for $1. As explained to us the glowing necklaces help you to determine who is a friend and who is a foe.
When you first enter the haunt, you are lined up (similar to an amusement park ride) and shown a video. The actress in the beginning was great at encouraging ghoulish talk. The most unique thing about this haunt is the elevator ride in the beginning. I grasped the elevator wall fearing that it would drop at any minute, but alas the ride was over and everyone was safely on their feet. The attraction is in a warehouse that is 15,000 square feet! I would have liked to attend later in the evening as it would have given the volunteer ghouls more time to find their "niche". However, there were a few natural born ghouls that left their mark.
Oblivion started construction in November of 2009 and the detail and props definitely showed the hours well spent. I do not scare very easily, but there were several areas that caught me off guard. Expect the unexpected at Oblivion and even if you are prepared to be scared ... they will get you! I had to stop at one point because I couldn't figure out how the ghoul managed to drop from the sky. One room contained the MOST disturbing scene I have seen thus far ... the blood, screaming and acting was too real!
The total time spent going through the haunt was 14 minutes, however it seemed much longer. Our group surpassed the glowing necklaces, but we were paired with another group that had them. The necklaces were great for seeing where you were going, but I would have preferred wandering in the dark. Our "big guy" was in the back of the group and he was followed by a ghoul the entire way. He explained that it was freaky because he was never "safe".

House of Bathory by Dead by Dawn Productions

Review
House of Bathory is back again and they continue to go above and beyond every year. The theme this year is, "Alice in Wonderland", but do not expect tea and cookies at this party. It's in your face, or rather I should say "beyond in your face". (Yes, this IS a touch haunted house. If that bothers you, then I recommend going elsewhere). What makes the House of Bathory such a success is the outstanding actors, fine detail, and unique creative designs. The actors are primarily high school age or younger. Think the younger ones can't scare? Think again! Every actor is there on a volunteer basis because they live to scare year round! They even open the Haunt in the summer and may open it in December as well. This isn't your typical 4 weekends and its over ... they live for this stuff.
The Mad Hatter invited us to dinner and he had us laughing and trembling. The details of the rooms do not consist of your typical electronic, technologically advanced props. Most of the rooms and hallways appeared to be something you would see in a classic horror movie. The "Alice in Wonderland" theme flowed flawlessly from start to finish with an added bonus "scene" at the very end! There are no concessions and the wait outside has some ghouls wandering around, but as "Dead by Dawn" explains on their website ... they are not there to serve warm doughnuts, they are there to "scare the S*%@" out of you. And that is exactly what they do best!
We were fortunate enough to go when the wait wasn't very long, but I know from previous years the wait can be long. However, the wait is well worth it as they specifically make sure that every room is properly prepared for each victim. You will never have to worry about being rushed or running into another group. The staging of the haunt is meant to play out like a movie rather than herding cattle through hallways and glancing at rooms. According to the website if you are 21 or older you can buy your tickets at the door and wait at a nearby bar until bartender summons you. PLEASE make sure to bring a designated driver if that is the route you choose. At only $15 a ticket you can't afford NOT to attend this haunt, no matter where you are coming from. I am uncertain the EXACT length of the haunt, but we estimated it at about 25-30 minutes! My group is already making plans for a second visit this year!

I attended Shawano Manor for the first time two years ago with my brother and we purchased the RIP tickets. We had such a great time then, that I was excited to return this year. This year we also went RIP style. It was the 2nd night Shawano Manor was open and although there was a very small line, the RIP passes are still well worth the investment.
Shawano Manor is located on the far Northwest side of Green Bay. If you are not very familiar with Green Bay, you will want to take note of the directions as it may be difficult to find. If you are on HWY 41, you want to exit on Shawano or Dousman and then take an immediate left on to Taylor. Once on Taylor you will see the large sign a block away.
As we entered the wooded entrance, we ran into two teenage men that ran screaming in fear from what sounded like a loud chainsaw. The actors and props along the path did a phenomenal job prepping us for what was to come. The two men in front of us were so afraid, they tried to turn back several times. I'm not certain what ever happened to them because they were never seen again after their tickets led them to the house and ours led us to the RIP area.
At the RIP area, you are given an endless cup of hot cocoa and a very cool t-shirt souvenir. There was a large bonfire and a huge stage with a LIVE band playing. It is very rare to see a LIVE band at a haunt, especially such a good one and so early in the season. We remained in the RIP area listening to the band and sipping hot cocoa until we were ready to go into the house. We walked right up to where the main line meets the RIP line and were in the house within minutes.
3D glasses bring your nightmares to life with the help of brilliant fluorescent paints and "ultraviolent" black lights. Instead of walking down endless hallways of darkness, you will encounter floating doors, long shrinking hallways, mind twisting "sparkles", and walls that will attack you. The 3D was so effectively done that I actually thought I was rubbing up against a cold corpse. Every actor was right on target and their twisted passion for "bringing the fear" is very apparent. The usual "boo's" and "gargling" you hear in most haunts were rarely heard. The costumes were also very well done and very real in a grotesque way.
The entire house from start to finish lasted about 23 minutes. If you are on a budget you can purchase the tickets for the house for $13 a person. However, (for the total experience) I do recommend spending the extra $10 for the RIP tickets. As one person in my group pointed out, "going to the haunted house without RIP is like going to a Packer game and not tailgaiting".
One thing to be cautious of is the weather. If it is raining there is little to no protection until you are in the house.
Shawano Manor is great for those looking for an evening of fun and fear.

Terror on the Fox

Review
Although this was not the opening night for Terror on the Fox, it was a very soft performance because the weather was bad and it is still early in the Haunt season. I was very aware that it would probably be very slow and that it wouldn't be the "best" experience, but I was too excited (rain or shine) not to go! We bought our tickets online at $22/person. You can just do the train ride and main haunt for $14/person.
Terror on the Fox is easy to find as long as you know how to get to Broadway. From there all you have to do is watch for their large flashing sign.
Before you travel the path to the haunt, they have a small "treats" stand with your basic Halloween treats. They also have a gift stand where you can buy several different Halloween related objects (however much smaller than previous years). For those of you with small or weak bladders there are plenty of port a potties at each portion of your journey!
The most redeeming and unique thing about Terror on the Fox is the train ride which will always be the beginning of your adventure. There are no other haunts that offer a haunted train ride and it really is a unique, "must see" experience. The train ride started with a very creditable story line, but there was only our group and another. We didn't see any ghouls until the ride was about ¾ over. The actors did a good job scarring one of our friends twice, but in that situation I think a lot of ankle grabbing could go a LONG way! The smog machine at one point became very overwhelming and we had difficulty breathing.
The 3rd dimension of fear was the first stop for us. Like the website states it looks like a toxic hazard, however I'm wondering if this portion of the haunt was supposed to be in 3-D? Again because of the rain and early season, our first experience inside this portion of the haunt was unprepared actors standing and talking (as was the theme for most of our time in all houses).
The "Void" was exactly how it sounds … nothing but darkness for a very extended period of time. Normally I don't like a lot of darkness, but towards the end when the rooms really start to open up I found myself very nervous. We did not see any "static" or "electricity" so I don't know if that is just a kink that will work its way out? As always it ended with everyone's favorite … the vortex!
Torment Reanimated was the final portion of our journey. From the distance it resembled a scene from Beetle Juice, with ghouls dancing around the top of the mansion with much better costumes, than the dabble of face paint the other ghouls displayed in the other two exhibits. Considering how slow the night was, I have to admit that the dedication of the dancer is OUTSTANDING! I don't know where he gets all that energy, even with a very small crowd. At this point we all thought, it's going to improve dramatically from here on in. While walking in the door you see a series of scenes which flow in similarities and even work from a story board perspective, but the acting this night really haunted this venue. Even though there was only one other group aside from ours we managed to run into them in the haunted house. We tried to slow down, but that just resulted in unprepared actors.
I have attended Terror on the Fox every year for at least 10 years. It is amazing how much it has grown! I like the fact that they continue to expand which helps extend the experience. They also do a GREAT job of getting rid of what isn't scary and keeping what works. You can clearly see that A LOT of time and effort goes into this haunted attraction. I know from previous years that the acting has always been a hit or miss, but typically if you go on a busier night (unlike us) you will have a much better experience. If the 3rd Dimension was in 3-D (I think it was supposed to be) and the Void had more actors and sparks, the potential for this haunt to be on top is very attainable. I will definitely go back later in the season!

When the bus ride finally came to a hault we were at the entrance of The Haunted Mansion. There was a nice warm bonfire and a woman walking around with plenty of hot cocoa. There was also a projection screen playing music videos and scenes from Scary movies. Actors were roaming the lines trying to steal screams. Once inside you will find many unique scenes. The Mansion was by far superior to the cornfield, bus ride, and woods. There were many points in the Haunt that would make you jump, and others that were just plain creepy! I found myself alone a lot in this haunt (which was the ghouls intentions) and I loved it! The Haunted Mansion had the most actors of any haunt I have been to. There is NO "dark/dead time". If you live in the area, this is a haunt I would not miss.

When it is your turn to go through the haunt a LED screen will show your number. The cornfield itself is spooky with sky rocketing corn stalks that make you feel very inferior. There is rarely a "dead" moment throughout the entire cornfield. Strobe lights guide you through rows of corn, but be careful to go the right way or you may find yourself lost! Don't fear, the ghouls may help you find your way or they may just guide you the wrong way. The animatronics were great, I am amazed at the props and scenes. Everything is HUGE this year ... above and beyond. There are several areas which you will have to enter through different themed "cabins" ... you could find yourself disorientated, crushed, or attacked by vicious creatures.
I would definitely drive 2 hours again to visit this Haunt. You can NOT beat the price, it is cheaper then most Haunts and far superior than any haunts that are the same price. The only bad thing is you have to watch the weather, this isn't a haunt you would want to attend on a rainy night! This haunt is a hidden "treasure" in WI, I live in Green Bay and would have never heard of The Haunted Cornfield at Meadowbrook if it weren't for HauntedWisconsin. I recommend this haunt to EVERYONE!

Review
We were one of the first ones to arrive at the Burial Chamber. We were side tracked by the warm mini sugar doughnuts and had to indulge. Once our bellies were satisfied it was time for the "Fear". The Burial Chamber is known for being one of the best haunts in WI. That having been said, being "the best" means that there is no room for flaws. Overall The Burial Chamber has lived up to its expectations, with only a few minor flaws. The outdoor wait area is not pleasant, especially on a rainy night. Each line we waited in there was always a group of heavy chain smokers in front of us. There was also an extremely intoxicated young lady who felt the need to rub my friends bum. There were also line jumpers which is very obnoxious. I think if there was a way to "monitor" the lines, the wait wouldn't be a problem. Enough about the wait, lets discuss the fear.
The first part of the haunt we went into was Adrenaline "under attack". The actors were out of this world. It was frightening because "monkey boy" (I believe they said that was his name) was doing things beyond human. He was literally crawling up the wall, it was creepy. Syrina was very pleasant and witty, she was the "gate master" of Adrenaline. We got lost in Adrenaline and found ourselves in and out of the same room over and over again. Just when we thought we would never get out, somehow we did. My anxiety level definitely sky rocketed as we thought we could out smart this maze. There isn't much more I can say about this portion without giving too much. Adrenaline has A LOT of in the face, make your heart race scares (hence the name Adrenaline). Adrenaline was 25 minutes long.
After Adrenaline we headed to "Phobia", the haunted woods. It rained and things were pretty muddy, make sure to wear shoes that can get dirty. I did not like Phobia as much this year. It lacked actors and a good theme. The woods itself is a creepy environment, but it is only 6 minutes long (compared to a 25 minute wait). There are not many prop's. The best part was at the end when an actor imitated a creaking door as we were exiting the woods. A possible suggestion would be sending one person at a time through the woods ... everyone knows walking alone in the woods is frightening. That is just a thought. Then we headed back to the snack shop ... they have so many treats such as frankin figers corn dogs.
Insantity was the last portion of The Burial Chamber we explored. The outside prop of a large gory corpse chained to the wall. The sign also said "Gov't Quarantine Area". As soon as you get in the host sets the ground rules and you watch a creepy introductory video. Insanity was AMAZING. The actors were great and always in the right place at the right time. The props were so detailed you couldn't help but realize how much hard work and intellect had to go into them. I was sprayed with blood, got wet in the swamp, and had a not so great experience with an overflooded toilette. We all felt as if we were in another "world". The caves and board walk were amazing. The actor in the caves was incredible, he would appear in front of you making this creepy alien noise and then disappear again. I get chills just remembering the experience. Again I do not want to give away too much. Insanity lasted 19 minutes.
Finally, my friend and husband did the coffin ride (I chickened out). It was great because you could watch their face on a television screen as they fear their journey. It is my understanding that pictures of anyone who has ridden are available on their website. I think that area was still "under construction" ... and a bench to sit on would be nice. Overall The Burial Chamber is aware of the ever changing environment and constantly seeks out new innovative scares. They also employ the best actors I have seen ... PURE talent.

A Theater of Lost Souls has always been the black horse of the haunt industry. There is so much potential for A Theater of Lost Souls to be one of the best Haunt attractions in WI and perhaps in the Midwest. This year they have certainly expanded and tapped into some of that potential. The haunt began with a "guided" hay ride explaining the history of the fair grounds. What many people may not understand is that the story is actually true! In 1915 there was a Sanatorium for people who had tuberculosis. People who went to the Sanatorium either had money and could be treated or they had no money and had to suffer and die. While the Sanatorium is gone there are still a few remains. The energy of the spirits that still linger there can be felt while on the Hay Ride (you just have to ignore the giggling children seated next to you). The tour guide did an excellent job of explaining the what occurred in this area. I would have preferred more special effects on the hay ride and maybe a few more actors. Maybe a can of WD40 and the lighter? I know it is so difficult to keep things safe AND scary. They hay ride was a perfect bone chilling, thought provoking start to the Theater of Lost Souls.
We went late, but it appeared that they kept everyone waiting in cattle pens. The Theater of Lost Souls had the perfect combination of old school scares and new fears. The Animatronics were superb, you could not decipher it the body tortured body was human or not. The power of Christ that compells one even got me in the head (I took that message seriously). If you have a fear of spiders ... stay out! The Theater of the Absurd is the best 3d haunt I have been too (and I have been to them all over the US). The painting was so creatively done that you felt as if you should be submitted to an asylum. I even had to take my glasses off at one point in time because I was thought I had lost the ground beneath me. The young lady made us go round and round and half of the group disappeared. There is no better ending to a haunt than that loud roaring sound of a chainsaw ... call it cliche, but it works! I haven't been to many haunts so far this season, but I have a feeling that A Theater of Lost Souls may become a favorite. They have grown so much just in the 3 years that I have been attending. They listen and keep the good scares and get rid of the boring ones. They are very innovative and I can not wait to see NEXT YEAR. (oh and crazy country boy, good luck with your surgery)!
A SIDE NOTE Want to see all the detail that goes into a haunt? Too afraid to go to a haunted house? Have young children? Want to support a good cause? On OCT 10th A Theater or Lost Souls is having a "lights on" haunt from 2p - 4:30p. It is only $3, and the proceeds go to help the children's hospital. See their website for more information.

I was very blown away by this entire haunt. Shawano manor is a DEFINITE must for any haunt "go'er"! The actors are phenomenal and the house is well thought out. It is in a great location right in Green Bay, so if you live in the north do not miss it!

Torment - A new addition, although much smaller than the main house, offers everything "phobic" ... from spiders, snakes, clowns, to fear of heights! VERY CREATIVE!
The Main Haunt ... it is amazing the amount of work that goes into the prop's in this house. You'll rarely ever find yourself simply walking through a dark corridor. The scenes are well thought out and graphic, the make-up/costumes are also very well done!!
Now if they can get the actors performance in sync with the rest, I think this could be one of the better haunts to visit!!
