Join us on Saturday, October 8, or Saturday, October 15, for a fun-filled day celebrating all things fall. Each admission to The Great Pumpkin Train, presented by Community First Credit Union, includes a train ride to the pumpkin patch, where you can find your own pumpkin to take home with you! Your ticket also includes indoor live entertainment, crafts, trick-or-treat throughout the Museum grounds, and games for children of all ages. The event will take place rain or shine, and all attendees also can explore our many historic trains and engaging exhibits.
The Great Pumpkin Train runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with train departures starting at 9:15 a.m. Your ticket gets you a ride on the train at the time you select, but you are welcome to participate in all of the other activities at any time throughout the day. Our supporting sponsor is Gagnon Clay Products.
Children’s activities are sponsored by Wilke Orthodontics, and they include an array of games as well as crafts like creating your own cotton ball ghost, pipe cleaner spider, or tissue paper candy corn. You can also try your hand at winning our Coloring Contest, presented by 7-Up.
The entertainment schedule inside our Lenfestey Center will include:
