Special Events

2014 Pumpkin Olympics

Didn’t get invited to the Olympics this year? Neither did we. Waldvogel’s Farm has decided to create their own Pumpkin Olympics that will be open to everyone! Starting September 20th and going until October 26th, we will have events each weekend that you can participate in and enjoy. If you chose to compete for the podium, we will keep track of your team’s score. Below are the events, rules and scoring guidelines to this year’s competition.

Pumpkin Mini Bowling See if you can get a strike using a pumpkin!

Pumpkin Skeeball Roll our mini pumpkins into our make shift Skeeball game.

Pumpkin Golf Test your pumpkin golfing skills to see if you can get a hole in one!

Pumpkin Toss Can you hit the target?

Awards Ceremony (October 26th) Did your team bring home the gold? Come to our celebration of Halloween and Fall. This is going to be an event that you will not want to miss.

Rules and Scoring Guidelines

The Waldvogel’s Farm Pumpkin Olympics is designed to be a good ole fashioned friendly competition. There are multiple ways to score points. The first way is by scoring at the event at the farm. The second is by recruiting a big team. The third is by competing in as many events as possible. For example, you will score 5 points for creating a team. Each team member that you have will give you 2 points. The events will have a varying range of points from 0-20 and we will take the top ten scores from each team. We highly encourage you to get a large, enthusiastic and skilled team!

On October 26th, there will be an awards ceremony with prizes for the winners. Please follow our website and Facebook page for updates. Please plan on joining us as it will be the “Superbowl” of Fall Festival Finales!
